The First 15 minutes
- Read and understand the questions carefully
- Recall the formula as you read the questions
- Draw working columns for calculations
- Check the number of questions, their types and marks

- Go through all 30 questions and categorize them into easy, manageable, and tough
- Have a rough idea/plan to attempt all questions accurately
Next 2 hours 30 minutes
- Attempt easier questions first. Solving correctly the known problems increases your confidence to attempt complex problems as well
- Understand the worth of each question and maintain the speed and accuracy right from the beginning
- Implement quicker methods in calculations to save your precious time
- Know the tables
- Keep close watch on the time
- Give priority to questions you can attempt correctly
- Limit your answer to the requirement and avoid answering in paragraphs which do not carry marks
- Solve problems only with required number of steps that carry marks
- Keep constant line space for every word and question
Final and crucial 15 minutes
- Check your answer sheet to verify answers
- Check whether you have written the question numbers correctly
- Check if you have attempted all 30 questions
